EsSalud Contribution
Employers in Peru generally pay EsSalud for dependent employees. The regular contribution is usually 9% of monthly remuneration and is a key part of employer-side payroll cost planning.
Statutory Bonuses
Eligible private-sector employees generally receive statutory bonuses in July and December. For a full semester of service, each bonus may equal one monthly remuneration.
CTS Deposits
Employers should budget for Compensation for Time of Service, commonly known as CTS. CTS is generally deposited twice a year for eligible private-sector employees.
Other Cost Variables
Final payroll cost may vary depending on family allowance, vacation pay, contract type, employee status, company size, industry rules, and payroll setup.
